Motorskibet Birgitte Frellsen solgtes 1965 til Norge, hvor det omdøbtes Kloster, der 1970 solgtes til Halifax og 1974 Newfoundland i Canada.
Ved Triton i Newfoundland blev skibets agterende 10. august 1993 brandskadet hvorefter det blev slæbt til Fogo Island og nedrigget til lægter.
