Det norske skib Haabet med skipper Gabriel Hansen var på vej fra Riga til Toulon med trælast og betalte 7. december 1825 sundtold, men totalforliste 1. januar 1826 ved den nu ubeboede shetlandsø Mousa godt 10 km syd for Lerwick, hvor hele mandskabet druknede og lasten inddrev på kysten.
