Det engelske skib George med skipper George Willis betalte 2. april 1783 fyrpenge ved Øresund i ballast på vej fra London til Klaipėda/Memel (eller Kønigsberg), men drev under storm og tykt vejr 8. april om natten på land ved Villingebæk i Nordsjælland ca. 15 km vest for Kronborg og totalforliste.
Inventaret bjærgedes.
Et andet skib drev i land øst for ved Ålsgårde.
